Itinerary for the optional 4day/3 night pre-tour stay in Cape Town

Day one . Arrival in Cape Town -Afternoon orientation - Historical tour through Cape Town up the Table-Mountain for a birds eye view over the most beautiful city in Africa. Drive up to Signal Hill to welcome the wonderful Mother City of South Africa with a glass of champagne . Overnight in a beautiful Hotel in Cape Town .

Day two. Leave the hotel for a full day tour to the Cape of Good Hope - Cape Point , all along the Cape Peninsula / the Atlantic coastline - visit en route - the penguin colony at the boulders - a boat ride at Houtbay to visit a colony of Cape fur seals - visit the ostrich farm at the Cape of Good Hope - Chapmans Peak - the semi precious stone factory - biggest in the world - lunch at the Two Oceans / Black Marlin restaurant . Perhaps visit the famous Constantia Wine Estate. Return to the hotel , via Rhodes drive .

Day three.. Full day visit to the wine lands of the Cape-en route visit Khayelitsha , the settlement of the indigenous people of SA , a traditional township of the African People , experience the daily life and aspirations , desires and fears , interact with them, become part in a projects to uplift the community . Continue to the most prominent wine regions of South Africa - Paarl - Stellenbosch - Franschhoek - visit some of the most profiled wine -farms of the regions - taste the export wines and brandies of South Africa . Wander through the most historical town of South Africa - Stellenbosch , feel the history of an bygone era with its Cape Dutch / Victorian architecture. An environment that buzzes with early history and indescribable beauty . Return to the hotel for overnight .

Day four. Day at leisure , shop at the Waterfront , perhaps visit the Oceanarium , perhaps board the Makana , the official ferry to Robben Island and visit the Island , the Prison Island , President Nelson Mandela spent 18 years on this island spend time just relaxing at the water edge, thinking about the wonderful things one can do on your next visit to Cape Town - the gem of Africa . One of the most beautiful city's in the World .

Itinerary for the Spectacular South Africa tour. (13 days / 12 nights)

Departures from Cape Town in 2007 / 2008. Departure dates custom designed for groups of 4 and larger.

Day one... Depart Cape Town via the Settlers Way over Sir Lowry's Pass , through the apple / pear orchards of the region , or via the "Reviera of the Cape"-during the Whale Season-July-November , to the historic town of Swellendam .Continue past Riversonderend to Mosselbay , visit the Old Post Office Tree-the first postal transaction of South - Africa took place here in 1500. Board the Caraval,the first explorer used to sail into this bay , anno 1488.Overnight at the "Old Post Office Tree Guest House", or Munro Manor , or the Point Hotel .

Day two... After breakfast travel via the Robinson Pass to the Mecca of the South African ostrich farming - Oudtshoorn - After a tour through the Safari Show Ranch , and a ride on the fastest animal on two legs , we have lunch - speciality , ostrich-steak ( included ).Thereafter , visit the crocodile/cheetah farm - optional . Continue through to the world famous drip stone caves , the most beautiful in the world ,"Cango Caves". Overnight at a wonderful Guest House in Oudtshoorn , or via the picturesque Outeniqua Pass to George / Wilderness , for overnight at a delightful Guest House / Hotel at the edge of the Indian Ocean ( dinner is optional extra ).

Day three... Leave George on board of the "Outeniqua Choo Tjoe Train", through the Wilderness over - five lakes - two estuaries .Arrive at Knysna for lunch at the lagoon . Boattrip on the picturesque lagoon for the ultimate experience of this beautiful area .Through "The Garden of Eden", to Plettenberg Bay , the "Pearl of the Garden Route", for overnight at the Keurboom River Lodge Protea Hotel .

Day four... After breakfast continue through Natures Valley , to the Tsitsikamma Rainforest , check out , en route , the World Record Bungy Jump at Bloukraans River Bridge , via Cape St.Francis and Jeffreys Bay to Port Elizabeth . Through Port Elizabeth for a short orientational tour , stay overnight at the Marine Protea / Beach Hotel along the shores of the Indian Ocean .

Day five... Continue after breakfast to the Addo Elephant National Park , this is now a "Big Seven Gamepark" in search of the biggest mammals in the African Bush , the elephant , or perhaps a Rhinoceros , or Buffalo , Lions , or some of the many Antelopes . After the drive through the magnificent wilderness , visit the Shamwari for a Cultural Spectacular through a living Xhosa Village ( optional ) continue to Schotia Game Reserve , watch lions prepare for the hunt , a National Geographic's Dream . Finish the evening with a traditional African Cuisine Dinner ( included ) , continue to Port Elizabeth to your hotel on the Indian Ocean .

Day six.... After Breakfast continue through to Port Elizabeth short drive through the historical town of the 1820 British Settlers. Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Durban-Kwa Zulu Natal , the Kingdom of the Zulu Nation , visit the exotic Indian Market on Victoria Street before we over night in a wonderful Hotel along the Indian Ocean .

Day seven... We depart from Durban via the N 2 along the shores of the Indian Ocean ,. We stop en route for a visit to the living cultural village of the Zulus , Shaka Land including traditional "African Cuisine" for lunch ( included ). The popular movie "Shaka , King of the Zulus" was made here , via Empangeni toward Hluhluwe - Umfolozi Game Reserve , we stay two nights in the Hilltop/Mtwazi Camp alternatively stay at Itala in this wonderful Wildlife Sanctuary , in traditional accommodation , if in time , we indulge in a late afternoon game drive

Day eight.. After an early morning drive through this wonderful Game Park we have breakfast and relax in the tranquillity of the African Bush , for the rest of the day , or perhaps an Bushwalk through the wilderness ( optional extra ).

Day nine...... Continue through Pongola to the border of Swaziland-Enter into the Kingdom of Swaziland through Lavumisa and continue to Mhlambanyati , via Manzini , the Royal Village at Lobamba , onto Malkerns to visit the Swazi Candle making . Overnight at the Foresters Arms Hotel , or similar . .

Day ten.... Depart for Mbabane via scenic route and Piggs Peak , onto the World renown Wildlife Sanctuary , "The Kruger National Park with all its 20000 square kilometre of diversity of African wild life , full of excitement and surprises . Check in at your rondavel before going on a night drive through this exceptional Wilderness . Relax at the camp , or indulge yourself on a night drive , in open four wheel drive vehicles , to check out the nocturnal animals of this Park .

Day eleven..... Early morning game drive through the Park with breakfast en route , to check out one or two of the "Big Five"we might have missed , to our next camp along the shores of the Sabie river , relax for a while and take an afternoon or evening drive through the wonderful wildlife sanctuary , in open four wheel drive vehicles ( optional ) .

Day twelve.... Early morning game drive , with breakfast on route , to check one of the big five one might have missed . We are now leaving the magnificent park for Hazyview , via the Blyderiver Canyon , Bourks - Luck - Potholes ."Gods Window". Overnight at Hazyview , Hippo Hollow / Sanbonani .

Day thirteen.. After breakfast we continue to Sabie . We visit Pilgrims Rest (old gold diggers town , a living museum ) , through Robberspass to Lydenburg - Middelburg , back to Johannesburg / Pretoria or Sandton for overnight in a wonderful hotel ( not included in the price ) alternatively drop at the JHB. International for your flight .

This must be one of the most beautiful tours of South Africa , as one can see what is described as the "Floral Kingdom of the World ", beautiful seascapes , tremendous indigenous forests , diversity of cultures , and the undisturbed Best Wild Life of South Africa .

The Price for the above described tour is based on a per person sharing and on bed / breakfast basis , based on 6 / 12 / 14 paying passengers , including all entrance fees to the described venues , whilst on the Garden Route , Hluhluwe/Umfolozi/Itala , and in the Kruger National Park. Dinners are included . We have not included dinners in our price whilst in Cape Town , Durban , as experience has proven , our guest do not like to be tied down to the routine hotel meals , especially since there are truly wonderful and exotic restaurants to enjoy at your leisure . Internal flight PLZ-Durban , as well as transfers are included in the price . Lunches and beverages are excluded in our price , Porterages and Gratuities are also not included .

  • The cost of the 4-day stay in Cape Town, as an Pre-tour-option to the above tour , must be added to the above price.
  • The single supplement is R 280.00 for low season and R 380.00 for high season, per night/per person , to be added to the above price . The above prices are valid until end of October 2008 , however they are subject to confirmation and availability of seats .
  • To secure the above booking 25 % of the tour price is to be paid at the time of confirmation of the booking . The full amount is to be paid not later then one month prior to the tour departing . Trusting that the above meets with your approval.
