If you would like to be hushed but thrilled while on safari, try our Zambian Safari Tours for a remarkable experience. Talk around a campfire revolving around trips travelled and the merits of various safaris across the majestic African continent are shared by fellow travellers seeking to find out whether hippos really do sleep or not.

If you love to discover unusual creatures such as the prehistoric-looking creature that calls Zambia home; a water bird that resembles the Dodo – you had better hurry as the Shoebill stork numbers are fast dwindling because the wetlands in central Africa are shrinking. The Republic of Zambia is in the center of Sub-Sahara Africa, bordering eight other countries.  Boasting a  population of just over 14 million people, Zambia is proudly one of Africa’s most economically developed  countries.

  • Zambian Safari Tours will incorporate trips to various world-renowned national parks including South Luangwa,  Kafue, and North Luangwa in addition to Lower Zambezi.
  • Zambia is able to offer a veritable smorgasbord of delectable choices in the form of walking safaris. Although  Zambia was the first African country to introduce these incredible hiking experiences, walking safaris have now  been adopted all over the content of Africa.
  • Although primarily consisting of flat terrain, Zambia has hills scattered across the countryside and is home to  Lake Tanganyika which is the second deepest natural lake in the world.
  • The South Luangwa National Park teems with wildlife as a direct result of the establishment of the Luangwa river ecosystem.
  • Kafue National Park is another unspoiled spot, offering visitors access to one of the largest parks in Africa.

A visit to Zambia is not complete without a visit to the breathtaking Victoria Falls, which is unquestionably one of the most spectacular waterfall systems in Africa. For that suitcase full of memories, book your safari with African Safari Tours today; a decision you will certainly not regret.

Best time to visit Zambia

The best time to visit Zambia on safari is during the coolest time of the year, from May to August, just after the rainy season ends. The Victoria Falls is also spectacular during the same period, however, the viewpoints can be misty during May to June due to the size of the falls. Please inquire about the experience you wish to have for further details.
