1. Reservations
• On receipt of your non-refundable deposit of 25 % of the total price, we will reserve your tour for you. Payment may be directed into our bank account, of which we will supply the details on our invoice. Please fax a copy of the deposit slip as payment is made.
• Full payment is required not later than 45 days prior to departure of the tour. Bookings made within 45 days of departure must be accompanied with full payment.
• We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for which the total tour price has not been paid by the due date, in which event the deposit paid will be forfeited.
2. Cancellations
Cancellation of your booking must be made in writing, and will be effective on the date of receipt in our office. The following cancellations charges will apply.
• More than 60 days prior departure 25%
• Less than 60 days prior departure 50%
• Less than 30 days prior departure 80%
Should the client fail to join the tour, or leave the tour prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
3. Refunds
Africa Tours Online uses its best endeavors to ensure that all anticipated restaurants, accommodation, other venues, etc. are available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature whatsoever against the company for a refund either in the whole or part, if any accommodation or venue is unavailable or the passenger was unable to use that service.
4. Insurance
It is a condition of Africatoursonline arranging your tour that you purchase comprehensive insurance before traveling. This should include cover for all activities that are included in the tour as well as any activities that may be available as extra while on the tour and that the client(s) wish to undertake ( Not all activities are covered in all policies).The policy should also provide cover for cancellations, medical expenses, personal baggage, and theft of money and property.
5. Luggage
Passengers may have limitations put on luggage and will be detailed in a specific itinerary. In any case it is the clients responsibility to adhere to limitations imposed by any airline. Luggage and personal effects are conveyed entirely at owners risk.
6. Passport, visa and health requirements
The responsibility is upon the client to ensure that passports, visas and health requirements are valid for the countries visited. Please consult your local doctor in connection with malaria and any other health precautions to be taken.
7. Prices
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the prices quoted and payable for a tour will not include the following;
- International flights
- Items of a personal nature
- Water, drinks
- Park entry fees
- Itinerary changes
- Gratuities and tips to Staff
- Optional activities
