Monday (Day 1) Travel from Cape Town. A historical
background is given by our expert tour guide. Visit the Afrikaans Taal (language) Monument Drop in for cheese and
wine tasting at Fair-view Wine Estate. Visit the Nederburg, and taste the famous wines of this region. Continue
through to the Franschhoek Valley to "La Petite Ferme" for lunch. Enjoy the breath-taking view
aver the French Vignerons Valley while you eat at this "Farm house'. Visit a trout farm in the Franschhoek
Mountains. Continue through the valley. Visit the French Huguenots Monument Museum en route to your guesthouse
for an overnight at Le Quartier Francaise / Le Ballon Rouge. Tuesday (Day 2) Continue through to visit Wiesenhof Wild Park. Feel the vibes of Africa - see Africa's antelope in their natural habitat. Experience being close to the rare almost extinct Cheetah. Continue to Boschendal, visit the picturesque Manor house and stay for an unforgettable lunch. En route to Stellenbosch, visit Muratie - one of the oldest, largely untouched wine estates in South Africa with its "old world charm'. Travel through to Delheirn - a typical German "Gemuetlichkeit" After a full day tuck in for an overnight at the historical guesthouse 'Dorpshuis - D'Ouwe Werf Country Inn, in the best preserved, oldest town of South Africa - Stellenbosch. Wednesday (Day 3) Visit the 'Village Museum" and walk through some of the oldest historical buildings in this "Eike Stadt". Full of the exciting past. Ancient Oak trees tell of history on the wind. Drive through to Neethlings Hof Wine Estate, a most dynamic Cape Wine Estate, for lunch and a ride through the vineyards where you will enjoy the "birds eye view" over the area that produces wonderful "Champion Wines". Return to the Town of Oaks, for another night in classic Cape Dutch Victorian Style, at the Dorpshuis - D'Ouwe Werf Country in. Thursday (Day 4) Leave Stellenbosch. after visiting the Stellenrijk Wine Museum and / or the Bergkelder at the foot of the Pappagaaiberg. En route to Somerset West visit Spier Wine Estate. Continue through to Vergelegen, an 'Estate of exceptional pleasure", for lunch in beautiful surroundings. Finish off a wonderful day with tea / coffee and cake at 'Lady Florence Phillips Tea Garden'. Leave reluctantly for Cape Town via the early 'Settlers Way'. This must be one of the most relaxed and fulfilling four days you can spend in an environment that buzzes with ageless history and indescribable beauty. Drop off at Cape Town or airport.
