Explore the Kruger National Park with "Estate Tours"
Let us take you out of the hectic of town life and transfer you into "the haven in the African bush"

Baobab trees are the sentinels of Africa. Ancient and spreading their vast trunks speak of the ages.Travel in the comfort of air-conditioned microbuses, to the best animal kingdom of Africa where nature is and has been unspoiled for an eternity - where predators lurk in the shadows, where hippo's romp in the water holes, and elephants roam the vast plains of the wilderness. This is the home of the rhinos, lions and buffaloes. Crocodiles laze around the edges of the rivers, vultures circle the sun-drenched skies for food.

As the sun goes down, take a night drive to explore the nocturnal animals of the African bush. See lions on the hunt, perhaps a leopard on the prowl - rhinos appear like ghosts, and disappear, in the darkness of the African night.

After the rush of adrenaline, tuck into your bed in your bungalow, or luxurious lodge , listening to the magical sounds of the wild - try and sleep - if you can . This is an adventure you will treasure for the rest of your life and once you have experienced it, you will want to come back again and again.

Eco-Systems
The Giraffe - A tall and elegant engineering miracle with specially designed neck artries and vertabrae. The Kruger National Park contains a variety of ecosystems. Most of the mammals are distributed throughout the park, however, some species show a preference for certain areas of the park.

The south - west corner, between Olifants - Crocodile Rivers, with the highest rainfall of 700 mm a year and its thickly wooded areas attracts white rhino and buffalo.

The eastern section to the south, from the Olifant River, on the plains around Satara , and south to the Crocodile River, has large expanse of good grazing. This favors large populations of impalas , zebra, wildebeest , giraffe and black rhino. Predators are in great numbers in this area.

North of the Olifants River , the rainfall drops below 500 mm and the bush is dominated by mopane trees , favored diet for elephants, which are most common in the north of Olifants .

The most interesting area is the far north around Punda Maria and Pafuri. This is the higher rainfall area of the north and supports a wider variety of plants , like boabab trees and a higher density of plant and animals. The most popular areas for the tourist to visit, is the south of the park, between Skukuza (the main camp), Satara in the center of the southern part of the park, and than down to Lower Sabie and Crocodile River and .

The most rewarding experience of wildlife, flora and fauna, can only be achieved, if the visit to this unparalleled Wildlife -Sanctuary is carried out by an experienced tour operator and guided by a knowledgeable, professional guide.

The effect of the Seasons
The best time to visit the park is the drier month of the year, which is the time of May - June - July - August - September - October - November.

The rainy season normally starts in October / November. This does affect the vegetation , it grows taller and thicker and the animals are difficult to find due to the increased density of the bush and the water throughout the plains. This means that there is little need for the animals to come to exposed water holes.

However, for some of the visitors, the "time of plenty", the rainy season has its attraction with its lusciously green pastures. This creates a pleasant atmosphere that is not as 'wild' and 'unforgiving' as in the dry months.
