Brief Description:
This is an excellent 9 day tour that departs every second Saturday of the month throughout
the year, except for December. Highlights:
Voortrekker Monument (optional), Hoedspruit Game Park/Lodge, game drive through
Wild-game-Sanctuary, "God's Window", Pilgrims Rest, Gold-Reef-City, Thaba 'Nchu Sun Casino, Addo
Elephant Park, Tsitsikamma Rain forrest, Oudtshoorn Ostrich Farm, Cango Caves.

1. Day

We collect you at the Hotel in Johannesburg, continue to Pretoria for a
visit to the "Voortrekker Monument" (optional). We continue through
our gold and coal producing area of South Africa, via the Erasmus Pass -
Strydom Tunnel Hoedspruit, Three Rondavels on Panorama Route, to a private
Game Park/Lodge. Check in and freshen up before leaving for the first experience
of the bush and its diversity of wild animals, in an open
safari vehicle. Return after dark for a traditional dinner (included)
and overnight rest, if you are not to hyperactive.

2. Day
You are awakened to tee/coffee and snacks before heading out for a
bush walk, to corner the elusive big five. Return for a sumptuous
breakfast. Continue to the world renown Wild-game-Sanctuary, the Kruger
National Park, with all its 20000 square kilometers of diversity of African
wild life, filled with excitement and surprises. Check in at your climatised
Rondavel before going on a night drive through the
park in open landrovers - unforgettable.

3. Day
Early morning game drive, with breakfast en route, to check out one of the big five you might have missed. We are
now leaving this magnificent park for Hazyview, via the Blyde River Canyon, Bourks Luck Potholes, "Gods Window".
Overnight at Hazyview.

4. Day
After breakfast we continue to Sabie. Visiting Pilgrims Rest (old gold diggers town), through Robbers pass to Lydenburg
- Middelburg, back to Johannesburg for overnight at a wonderful hotel at the airport.

5. Day
After breakfast, on our way to Johannesburg, the city of Egoli. After a visit to "Gold-Reef-City", we
continue t Bloemfontein, Thaba 'Nchu Sun. A casino / hotel, where you can try your luck with "fortuna".
Enjoy the beautiful surrounds of this ex "Homeland" before going to rest, in comfortable accommodation..

6. Day
Continue to Port-Elizabeth - via the Addo Elephant Park for a short visit - for a tour through the town of Port
Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. Overnight at the Marine / Beach Hotel with a beautiful view over Algoa Bay.

7. Day
Leave Port-Elizabeth via Jeffreys Bay - Cape St. Francis in the background - through the Tsitsikamma Rain forrest
- "Natures Valley", to the Pearl of the Garden Route - Plettenberg Bay. Going on through the "Garden
of Eden" to Knysna with its picturesque lagoon, for an overnight stay at the Wilderness, at the edge of the
Indian Ocean.

8. Day
Board the "Outeniqua Choo Tjoe" through the most breathtaking part of the Garden Route - over five lakes
five river mouths - two rivers.
Continue over the Outeniqua Mountains to the Ostrich Mecca of South Africa Oudtshoorn - for a tour through the
Safari Show Ranch - a ride on the fastest bird on two legs. We have lunch specialty-ostrich steaks.Thereafter visit
the crocodile / cheatah farm (optional) and continue through to the world famous drip-stone caves-"Cango Caves"-the
most beautiful in the world.Via the Robinson Pass back to the Indian Ocean for overnight at the historical "Post
Office Tree Manor or Point Hotel at Mossel bay.

9. Day
After an historical walk through Mossel bay - board the Caraval, the first explorer used to sail into this bay-anno
1488. Visit the famous "milkwood tree" - where the first post office transaction took place in 1500.
Continue to Swellendam - one of the oldest towns in South Africa - further to Hermanus - the place of the rich
and famous. Through the apple / pear orchard to Cape Town, the mother city of South Africa.
